This message is the first in a series to propeare us for the Prophecy Conference that will take place at Good Ground Family Church on March 4 - 6 by Pastor Don Moore.
2 Corinthians 1:19-21
- There is an end of time
- There is prophecy
- The season can be known
- Prophecy ties in current events in 'our hour' and scripture!
Pastor used an example from Charles Capps about an inverted pyramid. An inverted pyramid has a long 'base' at it's top and tapers down to a point.
Pastor mentioned that the wide part at the top is the 'grace' of God; the part in the middle is the 'will' of god.
Because the broad side is 'up' and the narrow point is 'dpwn' we can come to the conclusion that the end of the age is when the pyramid becomes narrower and becomes a point There is less and less space to be out of the 'will' of God as time goes on.
An example was given using the base as a timeline with the beginning [Genesis] being at the left of the base... the cross and the resurrection in the middle... and the end of times [Revelation] being at the right end of the base.
