OK all you TV experts - remember the superhero He-Man?...

...And more travel

Greetings!

Hope everyone is enjoying this fabulous summer. Now if we can only repeat last winter to give us New Yorker's more of a break that would be great!

This past week Pastor and I were invited to a "Country Church" way up North in Prince Edward Island, Canada. We drove, and drove and drove some more. We saw a full grown moose on the side of the road, not a big deal up there but it was novel for us.

Pastor Bill and Debbie Arsenault from Faith Works Centre met with us on Saturday afternoon and we had a lovely lunch with them on the beautiful patio of a local restaurant. On Sunday my husband spoke in their Church on the Father's Heart from the story of the Prodigal Son and we ministered and prayed for people following their service. We believe that many were touched with God's healing power that morning and that many will receive God's wisdom concerning challenges in their lives. What a sweet congregation and wonderful Pastors they have!

Prince Edward Island or PEI, is one of the most beautiful and pristine places we have ever been. Known for their famous mussels, agriculture is also a large part of their economy with their biggest export being potatoes. (pa-da-das). Lush rolling hills that eventually take you to the ocean, or inlet, or river is the picturesque scenery. It is so amazing. Everywhere you look is like looking at a beautiful photograph. We commented that everyone who lives there has a view of something. Even the cows have a view!

We were blessed to stay at an Inn owned by a Christian family the Petrofsky's, better known as the Sky Family. Following breakfast ,we had worship and devotions led by Tom (Dad) on their porch and were blessed with another amazing view. Our host for our trip was our new friend June who we met last October in South Korea at Dr. Youngi Cho's Church. Small world huh? June treated us like roality! We went to see Anne of Green Gables, ate lots of seafood and went on a wonderful boat ride. What great fellowship we had. Please keep June in your prayers as she returns to South Korea shortly to teach at the University there.

Also keep the Sky family in your prayers as they travel this fall across Canada and parts of the US with their evangelical show that includes Celtic music, Irish dance, skits and most important the message of the Gospel. They are a very special, talented family with a heart to follow the Lord by Faith wherever He leads them. We are praying that God will open a door for them to come to our area so we can have an opportunity to be as hospitable to them as they were to us. You will all enjoy every one of them!

We heard we missed a great service here with our Elder Derek as the Guest Speaker. I have listened already to his message on "Focus" in the sermon section and know that he did a fantastic job while we were away. Thank you Derek!

We are so grateful for all that God is doing here at Good Ground. Lives are truly being transformed and our outreaches into the community have been fruitful. We had a great military dinner/ back pack give a way just last evening that was covered by two local TV stations and it was a great success thanks to all of our volunteers. Especially Michelle or is it Melissa? Thank you Miss M! Anyway, a good time was had by all! So much more happening as the new school year approaches. We are excited and expecting a great harvest this year!

Blessings and send a shout when you get the chance!
