Bread Basket Ministry

Every week Panera's Bread donates a days worth of bread for us to package and give away free. We are also blessed to receive occasional donations of bread and milk from our local Stewart’s Shops. Bread Giveaway takes place from 12-2 p.m. on Monday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on  Wednesday and 4 p.m.-6 p.m. on Friday.

Through the Day-End Dough-Nation program, unsold bakery products are packaged at the end of each day and donated to Good Ground Family Church.  In recent years, Panera Bread bakery-cafes collectively donated a retail value of more than 50 million dollars worth of bread and baked goods to charitable organizations helping to address the need for food in our local communities.
