Children's Ministry

Children's Church

The Children’s Church teachers at Good Ground Family Church are dedicated to reach out to children with the Good News of Jesus Christ by using high impact, fun filled lessons for children from four years old up to the 5th grade. We provide crafts, object lessons, games, activities, skits, stories and songs, all in a loving, Spirit filled, Spirit led environment. We are currently using the "Kids On The Move Curriculum" produced by the Willie George Ministries in Tulsa, OK. This series of lessons provides kids with fun filled faith developing activities that also have real life applications.

At Good Ground Family Church we have a wide variety of educational backgrounds, with many of our teachers holding formal degrees or certification in education. Most of our teachers have attended workshops, classes and seminars relating to children's ministry or have worked in education. Combined, we have several decades of Sunday school teaching experience.

We are always looking for ways to improve our Children’s Church program. We encourage parents who have become members of Good Ground Family Church to take an active part in the teaching provided to their children.  If they have a desire to become a teacher or an assistant, they should see our

Toddlers

Our toddlers have their own special bright and creative room supervised by teachers and assistants who focus on a short Bible Story along with songs and games that are age appropriate. There is plenty of room for our kids to play and tables for crafts during their Sunday School time. Their time is structured and well supervised and a lot of fun!

Nursery

Nursery is available for infants up to age 2. Privacy is available for nursing mothers. A child care worker or Guest Services Minister can direct you to the nursery. The audio portion of the service can be heard in the nursery.
