Extra Helpings Program

Extra Helpings is a cooperative food-buying program that provides people with purchased food selections through partner agencies.  Extra Helpings provides high quality food (same brands sold at Price Chopper) at low cost (usually a 40-60% savings) so people can stretch their food buying dollars.

Once a month, customers pre-pay for Extra Helping food when their order is placed.  You may use cash or checks.  This program is open to ANYONE regardless of income or age, and offers your choice of any of the following:

* A $21 food package that ususally has four fresh/frozen meats and two fresh produce items

* Two other food specials at individual prices.  They are usually meat or cheese items in large sizes (3-5 pounds)

* A $32 meat box that usually contains five meat items in large 2-3 pound packs.

You can order any combination of the above options.  Order dates are at the start of the month with delivery toward the end of the month.  The only exception to this is Thanksgiving and Christmas.

To order, stop by the church office no later than Thursday, September 9th. We are open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. You can also mail in your order and payment to Good Ground Family Church, PO Box 70, Cohoes, NY  12047 - ATTN: Extra Helpings Order.  It MUST be received by Thursday, September 9th. Your order will be available for pickup between 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28th.
